I am a licensed Deaf clinical psychologist at the Deaf Wellness Center. I graduated from Gallaudet University's Clinical Psychology Ph.D. Program in 2020, completing my doctoral internship at the University of Rochester Medical Center with the Deaf Wellness Center. I provide individual and couples counseling to Deaf adults with a variety of mental health disorders including anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder, etc., as well as individuals experiencing identity and cultural conflicts, grief/loss, stress, or difficult life transitions.

I am the Research Director at the Deaf Wellness Center. My main research focus includes (1) exploring Deaf cultural influences on mental health and well-being, (2) Deaf acculturative stress, (3) adapting and developing evidence-based mental health treatments for Deaf adults, (4) Deaf suicide risk, prevention, and treatment, and (5) Deaf professional development including access barriers, discrimination experiences, Deaf tax, mentorship, and systematic solutions.
