Dr. Assery was born and raised in Saudi Arabia. He received his dental degree (BDS) from Riyadh Elm University, Saudi Arabia in 2017, he also received the Dean’s list award that same year. He later underwent a 1-year training in general dentistry in the same University. Afterwards, he obtained a certificate of specialty training in Periodontology and a Master of Science in clinical and translational sciences from the Eastman Institute for Oral Health (EIOH) in 2022.

Dr. Assery is a member of multiple scientific organizations including the American Academy of Periodontology, the Academy of Osseointegration, The International Team of Implantology, Saudi Society of Periodontology, and the International Association for Dental Research. His research focuses on the effect of laser treatment on dental implants and the biofilm changes associated with it. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontology in EIOH.
