Dr. Mattick earned her Ph.D. in Epidemiology from the University at Buffalo before joining the University of Rochester Faculty in 2023. Her research focuses on developing and testing supportive care interventions for patients with cancer, with particular attention to rural health disparities and the role of healthy body composition in improving survivorship outcomes. She is passionate about creating accessible lifestyle interventions that help alleviate the most debilitating symptoms and side effects of cancer treatment while minimizing patient burden.
