My research interest focuses on uncovering the neural mechanisms behind chemosensation-driven social behavior, specifically emphasizing olfaction-related neural circuits. My current project, funded by R21 from NIDCD, aims to explore the chemosensory and behavioral processes involved in detecting and interpreting threatening chemosignals from predatory feces. This research aims to enhance our understanding of the accessory olfactory system (AOS) and broaden our knowledge of animal behavior and brain-wide neural activity patterns when exposed to threatening predatory chemosignals.
