Emily Sullivan was most recently a postdoctoral fellow in the integrated Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders at the University of Nebraska Medical Center’s Munroe Meyer Institute, where she now serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor. She is a doctoral board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA-D) and licensed applied behavior analyst (LBA) in Massachusetts, New York, and Nebraska. Dr. Sullivan earned her master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism Studies from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2017 and her Ph.D. in Behavior Analysis from Western New England University in 2023. She previously served as a Clinical Director at the May Center School for Autism and Developmental Disabilities and a predoctoral intern in the Munroe Meyer Institute’s Severe Behavior Department. Dr. Sullivan has clinical expertise in compassionate approaches for assessing and treating severe behavior. Her research interests mirror her clinical experience and include safely assessing and treating severe behavior and teaching robust repertoires of functional and meaningful skills.
