Colin P. N. Dinney, MD, is a Professor of Urology at the University of Rochester Medical Center and an internationally recognized leader in the biology and management of bladder cancer. Before joining URMC, he served as Professor and Chairman of Urology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Dr. Dinney received his medical degree from the University of Manitoba and completed a fellowship in urologic oncology at MD Anderson. Throughout his career, he has been dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care, advancing multidisciplinary cancer treatment, and mentoring the next generation of urologic surgeons and researchers.

A highly respected surgeon-scientist, Dr. Dinney has contributed to major advances in bladder cancer research, including work that helped lead to the development of novel intravesical gene therapies. He has also played key leadership roles in national research and clinical trial efforts aimed at improving outcomes for patients with bladder cancer.
