Dr. Melissa Meynadasy is a licensed geropsychologist in the inpatient psychiatry setting and a co-investigator in the HOPE Lab (Helping Older People Engage). She received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Florida State University after completing her predoctoral internship at the VA Boston Healthcare System where she also completed a postdoctoral clinical fellowship in geropsychology. She then completed an Advanced Fellowship in Geriatrics at the New England Geriatrics Research Education and Clinical Center (GRECC) which spans both the VA Boston and VA Bedford Healthcare Systems.

Research

Dr. Meynadasy’s scholarly interests are in age-friendly and dementia-friendly health care. She is especially interested in management of behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD) within various care settings and with older adults who experience psychiatric comorbidities.
