Biography

Dr. Coppage is Director of the HLA/Tissue Typing laboratory, which provides state-of-the-art compatibility testing for the solid organ and tissue transplantation services including HLA typing by molecular methods, antibody screening and identification, and crossmatching.

Research

Dr. Coppage's research focuses on B cells and antibodies involved in organ rejection--how they are produced, what effects they have, and what tests can be used to identify them. She is also interested in immune effects of chemotherapeutic agents and immune reconstitution following stem cell transplantation.
