"Being a pediatrician lets me have a relationship with my patients where I can watch them grow and mature through the years...bringing with it many opportunities for laughter, fun and learning." Dr. Klossner has practiced pediatrics in the Rochester area for 20 years and has been with Penn Fair Pediatrics since 2000. A graduate of Carnegie-Mellon University with a B.S. in chemical engineering, he earned his medical degree at the State University of New York at Buffalo and completed his pediatric residency at the Children's Hospital of Buffalo. He is a Clinical Instructor in Pediatrics at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Board certified in pediatrics in 1989 and recertified in 1996 and 2003, Dr. Klossner has practiced medicine along the Ivory Coast and Honduras and would like to do more short-term medical work in a third-world setting in the future. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, reading (especially about history), walking his two dogs, and participating in several half-marathons each year. - See more at: http://www.rochestergeneral.org/centers-and-services/rochester-general-medical-group/pediatrics/locations/penn-fair-pediatrics-group/#sthash.lGxMjIeu.dpuf
