Corey Nichols-Hadeed is an assistant professor of Psychiatry at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Her role in the Department has primarily focused on exploration of the impact of policy and law on health outcomes, with a focus on patient safety across the lifespan. In 2023, she was appointed co-director of the URMC Firearm Injury Prevention Program and co-director of the UR Medicine Geriatric Forensic Psychiatry Program. She also serves on the community engagement teams for the UR Medicine Recovery Center of Excellence, the Transform Research Center at Mt. Hope Family Center, and the Finger Lakes Center of Excellence for Alzheimer’s Disease. This work is centered on the importance of interdisciplinary and community collaboration.
