Biography

Professional Background

Andy Cohen, PhD is a pediatric psychologist and Assistant Professor in the Departments of Psychiatry and Pediatrics at URMC. Dr. Cohen provides clinical care in both primary care and specialty care settings (e.g., Headache, Endocrinology, GI) regarding issues such as emotional and behavioral concerns, parenting strategies, non-pharmacological management of chronic pain, and coping with chronic medical conditions. Dr. Cohen serves as Coordinator for Integrated Pediatric Primary Care within Golisano Children's Hospital Pediatric Practice, which reflects his clinical, teaching, research, and program development interests toward enhancing behavioral health integration within pediatric primary care.
