Professional Background

Dr. David Fraser received his dental training at the University of California, San Francisco with honors in periodontology and implant dentistry. He received further training in general dentistry and advanced specialty training in periodontology at the University of the Pacific and the University of Rochester respectively. Dr. Fraser maintains an active research schedule in periodontics and implant dentistry, with a specific focus on the diagnosis and treatment of peri-implantitis, dental implant osseointegration, and tissue engineering approaches for periodontal regeneration. He is a member of the New York State Dental Association, the ADA, the American Academy of Periodontology, and the Academy of Osseointegration, and is a diplomat of the American Board of Periodontology.
