Biography

Professional Background

I currently work as a full-time genetic counselor in both the Division of Neonatology and the Division of Reproductive Genetics. I work with providers within multiple specialties to provide information, support, and advocacy for individuals and their families who are at risk for, or have a diagnosis of a known genetic condition.

I graduated from Emory University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2000. I attended Case Western Reserve University’s Genetic Counseling Training Program and graduated with a Masters in Genetics 2006.

Prior to being employed by the University of Rochester, I worked as a genetic counselor at a private maternal fetal medicine office in southwest Florida and then at a small company providing telemedicine services to reproductive endocrinology patients.
