When you visit our facilities, we want you to be comfortable and well informed. We’ve created these pages to give patients and visitors information on the operational services and conveniences they have access to in our facilities.
If you’re visiting someone in the hospital, going to a doctor’s appointment, or being admitted to the hospital, you’ll find valuable information here. From the cafeteria location to driving directions, it’s here at your fingertips.
In addition, our volunteers at the Information Desk in the main lobby, will be glad to:
Give you detailed directions to any area within the hospital
Provide patient escort to and from appointments
Assist with wheelchairs
Call a taxi for you
If there are no volunteers available at the Information Desk, please call Amy Eisenhauer, our Patient and Family Relations Manager, at (585) 341- 0677 on any house phone to request patient escort or wheelchair assistance.
Please be aware of new procedures on the Mother-Baby Unit on Northeast 3. As of noon April 2, 2014, all visitors will be required to check in before being admitted to the unit. Learn more
SHHH (Silent Hospitals Help Healing)
Adequate rest is essential to our patients’ well-being; while you’re visiting, please help us keep the hospital quiet. Quiet hours start at 8 p.m. All hospital staff, families, support partners, and visitors are asked to respect the need to keep the patient care environment quiet from 8 pm until 6 am. The hospital has a family lounge on each unit, the main lobby, and the cafeteria available for relaxation and discussion while not in the patient room.
