EIOH Resident Spotlight - Dr. Stefani Berry
Dr. Stefani Berry has earned her Master of Science Degree in addition to a certificate in EIOH Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics Residency Program later this month. She published a paper and the case she presented at the American Association of Orthodontists conference this year received an Honorable Mention.

Q. Any papers published while you were at EIOH?
A. Influence of thyroxine supplementation on orthodontically induced tooth movement and/or inflammatory root resorption: A systematic review published in the Journal of Craniofacial Research Published September 2020
Q. Any presentations at conferences?
A. I presented an E-poster and a CDABO clinical case at the April 2023 AAO conference. My case received an Honorable mention, and my research was displayed during the entire conference
Q. Any awards or recognitions during your residency?
A. I was selected to be on the resident advisor committee for the Journal of Clinical Orthodontics
Q. Best memory of your EIOH residency?
A. Attending conferences with my co-residents
Q. In what way did your EIOH experience allow you to grow professionally?
A. By giving me the tools and roadmap to become an exceptional orthodontist
Q. What are the next steps after you graduate?
A. Work as an associate in Upstate/Western New York
Q. What’s the best advice you ever received?
A. Always make time for yourself.
Q. Favorite part of Rochester?
A. The variety in restaurants and all the outdoor activities.

A. My mother
Q. If you could change one thing about yourself, it would be:
A. I would not change anything about myself because all the experiences I had whether good or bad allowed me to become the person I am today.
