Dr. Courtney Gormley (GPR '23)

After graduating from NYU College of Dentistry last year, Dr. Courtney Gormley is graduating from the EIOH GPR Residency Program this year. 

Q. Where are you from?
A. Vero Beach, FL 

Q. In what way did your EIOH experience allow you to grow professionally?
A.  EIOH experience has allowed me to become more confident as a clinician and to do more complicated procedures.

Q. What are next steps after you graduate?
A.  I am currently job hunting for an associate position in private practice 

Q. Favorite part of Rochester?
A.  Corbett’s Glen Nature Park--one of my favorite things to do in Rochester is to explore the various parks and hiking trails that Rochester has to offer  

Q. Last time you were in awe?
A. April 2022, when I visited the Grand Canyon for the first time and experienced the vastness of nature 

Q. The one thing you can’t live without?
A.  My espresso machine, caffeine is what gets me through the week!

Q. A person who has inspired you?
A.  My grandma, growing up she was the person I looked up to for guidance, and she continues to be a mentor to me each and every day 

Q. The one thing you’ve always wanted to do but never have?
A. A ride in a hot air balloon
