URMC’s Flaum Eye Institute Hosts Finger Lakes Eye Fair July 10 in Geneva

Need new eyeglasses or prescription sunglasses? The Finger Lakes Eye Fair, sponsored by the Flaum Eye Institute at the University of Rochester Medical Center, offers the opportunity check out new styles and meet new ophthalmologists from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, at 738 Pre Emption Road, Geneva.

Earlier this year, long-time ophthalmologist Harold Ross, M.D., joined the Flaum Eye Institute and the practice has expanded specialty medical and surgical treatments, including pediatric ophthalmology and glaucoma care.

Steven E. Feldon, M.D., M.B.A., director of the Flaum Eye Institute, David Flaum, the center’s namesake, Ross, state Sen. Michael Nozzolio and James Smith, from Rep. Thomas Reed’s office, will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 3:30 p.m.

Ophthalmologists Christian Klein, M.D., pediatric specialist Benjamin Hammond, M.D., and retinal specialist David DiLoreto, M.D., Ph.D., will join Ross for the event. 

Refreshments will be served.

URMC’s Flaum Eye Institute offers multidisciplinary care, education and vision research. The institute has more than 200 ophthalmologists, optometrists, scientists and support staff who collaborate to deliver cutting-edge care and lead National Institutes of Health-funded research for cures.
