About Me

I am a graduate of Brown University (BA) and Eastern Virginia Medical School (MD). I completed a combined internal medicine and pediatrics (Med-Peds) residency training, chief residency, and a three-year Med-Peds hospital medicine fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and University of Cincinnati Medical Centers. I was also a National Research Service Award fellow at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. I received her Master of Science in Clinical and Translational Research through the University of Cincinnati in 2020. Upon completion of fellowship, I joined faculty at the University of Rochester as a Med-Peds hospitalist and health services researcher in the divisions of adult hospital medicine, pediatric hospital medicine, and transitional care.

Research

I aim to use my research to improve patient care in complex healthcare systems by including ALL key stakeholders in problem identification, intervention design, and implementation. As a hospitalist (doctor who takes care of patients in the hospital) who takes care of both children and adults, I have a special interest in improving hospital care for adolescents and adults with chronic conditions of childhood such as sickle cell disease and intellectual and/or developmental disabilities..
