Pediatric HIV Program

Our Pediatric HIV Program, designated by New York State as a Pediatric HIV/AIDS Center, is dedicated to providing high quality, comprehensive, multi-disciplinary care to children living with HIV and their families.

Our team includes doctors and a nurse practitioner.

Highlights of our medical care program include:

  • Collaboration with specialists in Child Psychology, Nutrition, and Pediatric Dentistry to provide a wide range of services.
  • Case management services for children living with HIV infection.
  • Collaboration with specialists in obstetrics and internal medicine to care for HIV-infected pregnant women and help reduce transmission of HIV from mother to child.

The Pediatric HIV Program is actively involved in medical research to find better means of treating and preventing HIV infection and related infections. We offer the most modern, state-of-the-art therapies for HIV-infected children and pregnant women through our work with the National Institutes of Health.
