How We Start

UR Medicine Fitness Science is here to help you move better, feel stronger, and live with more energy every day. Our programs are built for long term health.

To start, you will complete an initial evaluation that will assess your current fitness levels and review the basic movement patterns that will be used in your program. The results of this evaluation, combined with your history and goals, will help us create your movement profile and personalized program.

1:1

Allows you to work directly with an exercise specialist from start to finish. 1:1 programs are purchased in the form of session packages. With these packages, you purchase a specific number of sessions and can schedule them as you please.

Semi-Formal

Allows you to follow your own personalized program in an open gym setting, with coaches working on the floor to provide help/guidance when needed. This format ensures that you get the support you need while working at your own pace and focusing on your unique goals. Semi-formal programs are purchased in the form of monthly subscriptions. Subscriptions provide a set of number of sessions per month to keep you on track with your program.

Following your initial performance assessment.

Movement Prep/Warm-up

Work through basic foundational movement patterns and develop technique for your exercises. You will target mobility and stability to prevent injuries.

Plyometrics

Plyometrics

Increase your reactivity and strengthen your tendons. Learning to control your movement and become more resilient.
