Biography

Dr. Ban-Hoefen earned her medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, where she also completed her residency and an Oncology and Hematology fellowship. She has been strongly committed to the Western New York community since her undergraduate years at Cornell University, where she volunteered and delved into scientific research in the field of signaling cascades and oncogenes. Dr. Ban-Hoefen has published her research and observations in various benign and malignant hematological disease processes. She has also presented these findings at the American Society of Hematology on several occasions.
