Biography

I care for patients with Urologic cancer, and understand that a fully informed patient is the most empowered one. In partnership with patients and families, we work to build a solution that fits the patient's disease characteristics and lifestyle preferences. My approach is to recognize the importance of both quantity and quality of life.

Professional Background

Dr. Bandari is a Urologic Oncologist who specializes in both minimally invasive urologic oncology and advanced open pelvic and retroperitoneal cancer surgery. Dr. Bandari has clinical expertise in all aspects of Prostate, Kidney, Bladder, Testicular, and Penile Cancer.

Dr. Bandari received his medical degree at Johns Hopkins University in 2012. He completed his urology residency at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in 2018. Following residency, he completed a two-year Society of Urologic Oncology fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He is an active researcher with over 50 authorships, national speakerships, and grants. His research interests are in clinical trials in Oncology and health services research.
