Rochester Regional Center for Autism Spectrum Disorder (RRCASD)

RRCASD is a resource center for training and information on autism spectrum disorder (ASD). We serve 17 counties in Western and Central NY, and are locally sponsored by Strong Center for Developmental Disabilities (SCDD), a University Center of Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD).

What We Do

  • Publish a newsletter containing topics on ASD treatment and care
  • Create information sheets with information about treatment and care
  • Provide trainings for parents, school teams, and people employed at local agencies to help them improve care and services
  • Engage the community to share information on ASD and discover what ASD resources are needed
  • Annually host a series of free webinars on various topics related to ASD and evidence-based practice
  • Use data from our yearly community-based needs assessment to identify gaps in regional ASD resources and services
