What is Bladder Cancer?

Bladder cancer occurs when abnormal cells grow uncontrollably and form a tumor in the lining of the bladder, located in the lower abdomen. The most common type of bladder cancer, transitional cell carcinoma, develops in the cells that line the inside of the bladder.
