Graduation from a dental school with a D.D.S., D.M.D., or non-U.S. equivalent prior to matriculation. Minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale. GRE scores in the 60-80th percentiles. TOEFL iBT, taken within 2 years of application date, with a minimum score of 95.

MS Program/Advanced Education or Dental Specialty Program
Candidates currently enrolled in a two, three-year or four-year advanced education or clinical dentistry specialty programs at the EIOH may apply to the Master of Science programs during the first year of clinical training. The deadline for application is May 1 for matriculation in the fall semester. Currently enrolled candidates submit a brief application, a personal statement and a letter of endorsement from their program director. Contact the EIOH Registrar’s Office for more information.
This program is primarily for dental school graduates from countries outside the U.S. and Canada who seek an intensive study, research and clinical observation experience during a limited time period of time, typically 24 months. Candidates engage in didactic courses, seminars, workshops, carry out independent research, and are exposed to comprehensive dental instruction through an observership experience. A complete online application, including a personal statement that describes research experiences and interests as well as the reasons for pursuing a Master of Science degree is required. Candidates apply by May 1 for matriculation in the fall semester.
Candidates may pursue the MS degree without being enrolled in an advanced education or clinical dentistry specialty certificate program. These applicants submit a complete online application, including a personal statement that describes research experiences and interests as well as the reasons for pursuing a Master of Science degree.
