Luis A. Boza, D.D.S.

BozaDr. Boza comes from the land of the "Pura Vida" or "Pure Life", Costa Rica. Here, he obtained his DDS certificate in 2004 and practiced for five years in both government and private practice. He dedicated most of his time in private practice to comprehensive dentistry involving full mouth rehabilitations, including implant reconstructions. He then decided to specialize in prosthodontics at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health in Rochester, New York, where he also completed the Gerald N. Graser Surgical Implant Fellowship. He was then recruited to teach prosthetics and cosmetic dentistry at the University of Iowa Dental School in Iowa City, Iowa. He is now involved in private practice in Jupiter, Florida.

Dr. Boza has an MBA specialized in Medical Business Administration from Universidad de Santa Paula, Costa Rica. While still in Costa Rica, he created a non-for-profit association, Project Talamanca, alongside other local dentists. This organization was dedicated to providing free dental services to the indigenous community of Talamanca.

In his leisure time, he likes to play sports, even though he admits he is not great at any particular one. He especially enjoys soccer, street and mountain biking, volleyball, and tennis. Reading Sci-fi novels is a relatively new pastime of his, but he enjoys letting his imagination wander. He considers himself to be an amateur chef and definitely a foodie.
