We are incredibly proud to celebrate Dr. Marc Brown on receiving the 2025 Samuel J. Stegman, MD, Award for Distinguished Service from the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS).
This honor reflects a longstanding commitment to excellence in dermatologic surgery, leadership in the field, and dedication to advancing patient care and education.
This prestigious award honors ASDS members who have demonstrated exceptional dedication and impact in advancing the Society’s mission through education, organizational service, and research—continuing the legacy of Dr. Samuel J. Stegman’s innovative leadership and tireless advocacy for dermatologic surgery. Throughout his career, Dr. Brown has exemplified extraordinary leadership and service. He has served as President of the American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS), ASDS, and the International Transplant Skin Cancer Collaborative (ITSCC). He has also been a MSDO Fellowship Director for multiple years, committed to the training of numerous Mohs surgeons. Through these roles and beyond, he has played a pivotal role in advancing the field of Mohs surgery, helping shape it into what it is today.
