Neuroradiology Fellowship Program

Welcome from the Program Director

On behalf of the Neuroradiology section at URMC, I would like to welcome prospective candidates to the University of Rochester Department of Imaging Sciences Neuroradiology fellowship training program.

Our Neuroradiology fellowship is a one year ACGME-accredited program that provides an enriching training experience, which focuses on all aspects of neuroradiology, including abnormalities of the central and peripheral nervous system, spine, and head and neck. Fellows will be actively involved in resident teaching, as well as both department and interdisciplinary conferences. and early in the program, we strive to develop a schedule which best fits the needs of the individual fellow. Dedicated research time is also provided.

Currently, the Neuroradiology section is comprised of eight radiologists, each having subspecialty areas of interest, as well as two physician assistants. The section provides clinical service at the Medical Center and outpatient care centers with state of the art equipment that includes four MRI scanners at the Medical Center, and six MRI scanners dedicated to outpatient care. The diversity of subspecialty faculty and multiple imaging centers makes it possible for our fellows to gain experience where desired, including hands on experience with interventional procedures.

Two positions are available per year. For more information about the Neuroradiology fellowship program, please contact our fellowship coordinator, Dawn Mulcock.
