Education / Graduate Medical Education / Prospective Fellows / Neuroradiology Fellowship Program / About the Program About the Program The University of Rochester Neuroradiology Division provides state-of-the-art imaging and expert sub-specialty interpretation for some of the highest ranked Departments in Neurology, Neurosurgery, Otolaryngology, Radiation Oncology, Hematology Oncology, Ophthalmology and Pediatrics. Our faculty is extremely collegial and outstanding in their sub-specialty expertise. As the largest tertiary care academic center in Upstate New York, with its own Children’s Hospital and Cancer Center, the University of Rochester Medical Center brings patients from a geographically diverse population, providing for an incredibly rich case assortment. The University of Rochester Radiology Residency is a large and academically strong program that allows our fellows the freedom to focus on their particular interests at a comfortable pace. Our Neuroradiology Fellowship Program encourages fellows to personalize their learning experience beyond the core curriculum and focus on a sub-specialty area of their interest. Reasonable call duties entail a weekend day call once a month and one holiday coverage per year. No night or overnight shifts. Our program provides excellent mentorship and access to some of the pre-eminent research in Neuroscience. The Rochester region has an extremely high quality of life, with affordable housing, great schools, world-class arts and culture, delectable cuisine, Wegmans, and many outdoor activities, including the Finger lakes region.
