Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowship

About the Program

The Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery fellowship provides the fellow experience in the treatment of polytrauma, musculoskeletal trauma including pelvis and acetabular fractures, post-traumatic reconstruction, and hip and pelvis reconstruction. There is extensive opportunity for clinical and basic science research. The University of Rochester Medical Center is a Level I Trauma center with more than 3,200 trauma patients per year. This fellowship is staffed by three full-time and one part-time fellowship-trained traumatologists.

Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowship Faculty

Fellows will have the opportunity to learn through both formal and informal discussions. There are basic science, biomechanical, and clinical research opportunities available to the Fellow. Participation in clinical or basic science research is required.

This fellowship is ACGME accredited.

Fellowship candidates must have completed a US or Canadian Orthopaedic residency program and be ABOS-eligible or certified.

We participate in the Orthopaedic Trauma match, administered by the San Francisco Matching Service.
