The ACGME accredited, one-year Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellowship at URMC and Golisano Children's Hospital is well recognized for the delivery of outstanding anesthesia services to more than 7,500 children each year. Golisano Children's Hospital provides tertiary care in the neonatal and pediatric intensive care units and recover some of the most critical neonates and children in upstate New York and the Tri-State region.

About Our Director

DSweeneyDr. Dawn Sweeney, is Director of The Pediatric Anesthesia Fellowship. The Pediatric Anesthesia Fellowship is responsible for the education of fellows in pediatric and pediatric cardiac anesthesiology. Currently, the service provides training for Cardiac Anesthesia Fellows training at URMC and Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellows training at the Buffalo Children’s Hospital. Dr. Sweeney is an active participant of The Congenital Heart Surgery Research Interest Group (CHeSRIG) which meets regularly to discuss proposed research protocols. In addition, Dr. Sweeney is well published in her discipline.
