How To Apply

Application Materials and General Information

Number of Fellowship Positions

The AIR Division has four fellowship positions in total to fill. These are distributed amongst Allergy/Immunology fellows, Rheumatology fellows, and combined fellows and between first, second and potentially third-year fellows due to the unique opportunity for  combined fellowships in Allergy/Immunology and Rheumatology. Due to this combined position, in any given academic year, there may not be a first-year fellowship position available in Rheumatology.

Citizenship and Residency Requirements

Applicants must be a United States citizen, a permanent resident, or possess a J1 Visa.  The University of Rochester does not sponsor H1B Visas so unfortunately your application cannot be considered.

Application Process

Rheumatology applicants must have graduated from an ACGME accredited Internal Medicine Residency or Med-Peds Residency. The Rheumatology program participates in ERAS. When applying please note the Rheumatology program ID: 1503511127.

Those interested in a combined fellowship program should see Combined Programs for more information.
