Interests: Cassie enjoys weekend getaways, NYC brunches, political satire, epic group texts, OR step stools, her co-residents, and all things Michigan. Her interests within Plastic Surgery include body contouring and breast reconstruction.

Interests: Nick’s outdoor pastimes include hiking the local Rochester trails and exploring the Finger Lakes region with his family. His professional pursuits include breast reconstruction, microsurgery, and student/resident education.

Interests: Jackie’s interests within Plastic Surgery include craniofacial surgery and breast reconstruction. Outside of the OR she enjoys Netflix, wine tasting, and spending time with her co-residents.

Interests: Trevor spends his free time rock climbing, canyoneering, and camping in the Adirondacks (when he isn’t helping his wife corral their three kids). Professionally, he is interested in microsurgery, hand surgery, and has ongoing research in scar pathophysiology and body contouring outcomes.

Interests: Megan has a special interest in craniofacial surgery and microsurgery. Outside of work, Megan is a huge movie buff and loves basketball, camping, fishing, and hiking (basically anything outdoors!).

Interests: Katy loves sampling new craft beers, skiing, and traveling the world with her family. She also enjoys all aspects of Plastic Surgery and has a particular interest in oncologic reconstruction.

Interests: Michael enjoys lifting, cooking and playing goalie for his beer league hockey team. At home he spends his free time hanging with his amazing wife Gabrielle and adorable cat Bear. His interests in plastic surgery include hand & peripheral nerve, microsurgery and craniofacial surgery.

Undergraduate School: NYU
Interests: Safi is especially interested in craniofacial and pediatric plastic surgery, as well as gender affirming surgery and medical education. He hopes that his passions for teaching, foreign languages and travel will one day allow him to pursue a global surgical career. In his free time he enjoys making music, taking photos and spending time with friends and family.

Aabra Ahmed, MD

Aabra Ahmed Hometown: San Diego, CA

Interests: Aabra's interests include finding good shopping deals, working out indoors (hello spinning) and outdoors, and watching sports. She is currently interested in hand surgery but is very excited about the breadth of plastic surgery and is open to changing her mind.

Interests: James Butterfield attended Utah State University where he studied Business Finance and received his medical degree from the Penn State College of Medicine. He enjoys cooking, wood working, hiking and spends as much time with his wife and three kids as possible.

Keith Sweitzer

Hometown: Canton, OH
Medical School: University of Toledo
Undergraduate School: Ohio Valley University
Interests: Originally from Canton, Ohio, Keith Sweitzer attended Ohio Valley University before receiving his medical degree at the University of Toledo. A lifelong Cleveland sports fan, Keith is passionate about watching the Browns lose every Sunday. Additionally, he enjoys lacrosse, working out, beach volleyball, and exploring local craft breweries.
