Application Requirements

Congratulations on taking the next step in the admissions process with the School of Medicine and Dentistry!  Application to one PhD program per admissions year is accepted; however, you may request to transfer your application to a different program at any point in the application process.

Please review the list below and apply to your program of interest. Before starting your application, review the application requirements for  PhD program admissions requirements ,  master’s degree admissions requirements , and  certificate program admissions requirements .

SOPHAS application portal candidates who are offered and accept admission will be required to supply a final, official transcript demonstrating undergraduate degree conferral directly to the Graduate Education Registrar's Office at University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry prior to first term enrollment.
