Infusion Centers and Immunotherapy
Part of Strong Memorial Hospital
Infusion Centers
Some people with rheumatoid arthritis, lupus and other autoimmune diseases need medications that cannot be taken at home. Both of our rheumatology clinics have an Infusion Center. An infusion center is a room in the clinic where patients can receive these medicines in comfort and with privacy. Nurses in the Infusion Center will also provide patients with support and education.
Patients can bring one visitor with them. They may also bring a snack or meal with them especially if their medication takes more time to give.

Immunotherapy
Many people with allergies need skin testing and allergy injections. Both of our allergy/Immunology clinics offer these services in a patient-friendly and comfortable setting. Our nurses also provide patients with support and education.
