Infusion Centers and Immunotherapy
Part of Strong Memorial Hospital
The state-of-the-art Infusion Centers are conveniently located within the Rheumatology Clinics at 400 Red Creek Boulevard and 125 Lattimore Road. The centers provide a comfortable yet private setting where patients can receive intravenous, intramuscular and subcutaneous medications as prescribed by their physician for the treatment of systemic arthritis, lupus and other systemic autoimmune diseases. Patients receive individualized care from the centers' nurses who also provide education and support.
Patients may be accompanied by one visitor throughout their treatment. As some infusions require more time to administer, patients are welcome to bring a snack or meal with them.
Immunotherapy services for allergic diseases are available within the Allergy and Immunology Clinics located at 400 Red Creek Blvd and 125 Lattimore Road. Diagnostic and therapeutic services include skin testing, injection treatment (allergy shots), patient and family education on elimination and avoidance of allergens, and patient support. The patient-friendly atmosphere and individualized care create a comfortable setting in which patients receive the treatment prescribed by their physician.
