In Vitro Fertilization Cycle Cost
For each of the frozen embryo transfer cycles, up to 4 ultrasounds are included per transfer cycle. If additional ultrasound visits are required, these will be charged separately.
Cycle #1
$6500
Includes 1 oocyte retrieval and up to 2 transfers (one fresh transfer and one frozen transfer, or 2 frozen transfers).
Subsequent Cycles
$4300
Includes 1 oocyte retrieval and 1 transfer (either fresh or frozen), plus any unused transfer from cycle #1.
Starting 7/1/2024, IVF prices will be increasing to $7000 for an initial cycle and $4800 for subsequent cycles.
Services Included in Cycle Cost
Injection teaching visit, single trial transfer, office visits during the treatment cycle beginning with the baseline ultrasound, all ultrasounds for follicular monitoring during ovarian stimulation, oocyte retrieval, surgery fees associated with oocyte retrieval, anesthesia associated with retrieval, intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), fertilization and culture of the oocytes, sperm preparation, assisted hatching if needed, embryo preparation for transfer, embryo transfer, and post-treatment consult (done within 4 months of completed treatment).
Services Not Included in Cycle Cost
- Medications associated with an oocyte stimulation — costs vary by patient and by protocol; please use the Fertility Drug Calculator for drug cost estimations
- Medications associated with frozen embryo transfer
- Cryopreservation or storage of sperm
- Cryopreservation of embryos ($650)
- Storage of cryopreserved embryos/transport and storage of embryos for long-term storage
- Blood work done for preparation or during cycle monitoring or subsequent pregnancy
- Preliminary IVF evaluation testing/diagnostic test
- Any surgery required for preparation for IVF
- Testicular sperm extraction/percutaneous sperm extraction
- PGT-A/PGT-M embryo biopsy
- Preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGT-A/PGT-M) or screening and shipping fees
- Any fees for complications related to treatment or pregnancy
- Pregnancy ultrasounds and MD office visits
- Any additional trial transfers, if needed
- Donor sperm
Embryo Storage
First full year of storage: $1,000 per year that is prorated.
After the first year, embryos will be transferred to long-term storage with Reprotech. Please refer to Reprotech for current pricing information and transfer.
Package Conditions
- Services must be completed in the prescribed timeframe. Cycle #1 must be completed within one year of the oocyte retrieval. Subsequent cycles must be completed within 18 months of the initial oocyte retrieval.
- While the packages include embryo transfer, this is only if embryos are available. If there are no available embryos after retrieval and fertilization, there is no guarantee to receive an embryo transfer and no refunds are made for unused transfers.
- Payment is due in full at the beginning of treatment.
- The packages are considered complete when a live birth occurs or included transfers have taken place, even if no pregnancy results.
- There is no refund of payment in failed treatment.
- If there are no embryos for cryopreservation, all fees still apply.
- If for any reason your treatment must be cancelled you will be responsible for all services that were rendered. Should the cycle be cancelled prior to completion of retrieval if you have billable insurance we will submit services to your insurance and you will be responsible for your co-pays or deductibles which every may apply this included cancelled frozen embryo transfer cycles. If you do not have insurance or no infertility cover we will hold $1500 of your prepayment and the remainder of your prepayment will be refunded.
- If you do not have coverage for bloodwork you will be billed separately.
- All outstanding self-pay balances with this office are to be paid in full before participation in the IVF program. This also includes any accounts that have been sent to a collection agency.
