Jennifer Pascoe, M.D. was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. She received her undergraduate degree in History at Barnard College, graduating magna cum laude in 2000. Following this, she worked as an editor for several years, before changing careers. She received her M.D. degree at the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry in 2010. Dr. Pascoe stayed on, completing her residency in Internal Medicine at URMC as well, then joining the Hospital Medicine Division in 2013. She is the Clerkship Director for the 3rd year Internal Medicine Clerkship for the University of Rochester School of Medicine. She has also been involved as an assessment-question author for both Aquifer Internal Medicine and the Society of Hospital Medicine, and is a member of the Clerkship Directors in Internal Medicine (CDIM) Survey and Scholarship Committee. Dr. Pascoe's clinical interests include high-value care and patient-centered communication; her academic interests include optimizing evaluation and feedback, teaching clinical reasoning, and wellness/medical humanities. In her spare time, she enjoys running, cycling, gardening, and spending time with her two children.
