I have been a nurse practitioner on the inpatient palliative care team at Strong Memorial Hospital since January 2020. I have a master's degree from St. John Fisher University where I completed my family nurse practitioner training. I also hold a bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Rochester and a bachelor's degree in Spanish from Nazareth University. Prior to working in palliative care, I worked as a bedside nurse and later as a nurse practitioner with the thoracic and foregut surgery team at Strong Memorial Hospital.

In palliative care, I care for patients facing serious illnesses who need assistance with symptom management (pain, nausea, anxiety, etc.), making complex medical care decisions, and/or end-of-life care. Many of my patients are pursuing lifesaving and life-prolonging treatments, and I enjoy coming alongside them to help them feel their best throughout their treatments.

I am passionate about providing whole-person and whole-family care. All of my patients are facing illnesses which impact their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being, in addition to the well-being of their family. It is an honor and a privilege to partner with and support patients and families during difficult and vulnerable times in their lives. My special interests within palliative care include ketamine-assisted psychotherapy and physical and emotional intimacy during serious illness, among many other things.

I was born and raised in Rochester. I enjoy spending time with my husband and our 4 kids. I love boxing for exercise. My favorite place to travel is Spain.
