Andrew P. Smith, PharmD, CDE, BCPS, MSBA, earned a doctorate of pharmacy degree from the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Upon graduation, he worked at the University of Virginia Medical Center for 2 years before returning to the Rochester area to work at Strong Memorial Hospital. Starting in 2012 he transitioned to his current role as a transitional care pharmacist at Strong Memorial Hospital and precepts pharmacy residents and students in transitions of care rotations.
