Monica Dougherty, PharmD, BCACP, earned her Doctorate of Pharmacy at University of Rhode Island College of Pharmacy. She completed her PGY1 Residency at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center, and PGY2 Ambulatory Care Residency at Providence Medical Group, both in Portland, Oregon.

She currently works as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at the UR Specialty Pharmacy, focusing in the asthma, allergy, ENT, and dermatology clinics. She currently offers learning experiences for APPE students as well as PGY1 Community Pharmacy residents. She is actively involved with the national ACCP Ambulatory Care PRN and NY ACCP.
