Patient Communications
How We Communicate with You
At UR Medicine, staying connected is an important part of patient care. We use secure tools to share updates, answer questions, and help you manage your health with confidence. To learn how we protect your information, please review our Privacy Policy.
You may receive appointment reminders, billing updates, or health education materials directly in your inbox. To make sure you don’t miss important messages, check your spam folder and mark UR Medicine emails as “safe.”
Phone
You may receive a phone call from UR Medicine to confirm appointments, share updates, or follow up on your care. Our team will always identify themselves before discussing any personal information.
Text
Text reminders make it easy to stay on top of appointments, billing notices, and care updates. Standard carrier and data rates may apply.
You can manage your text message preferences in MyChart or by replying “STOP” to any message.
Manage Your Communications
MyChart is the primary channel we use to communicate important updates about your care. It’s the most secure way to view test results, message your care team, and manage appointments. It’s also where you’ll find visit summaries, care instructions, and prescription refills.
You can update your communication preferences at any time in your MyChart account or by following the unsubscribe instructions included in any UR Medicine message.
