The Academy develops educational leaders and applies the science of teaching and learning to advance health professions education. We aim to be a nationally recognized center of excellence, driven by a thriving community of educators and scholars invested in the transformation of health professions education.

Eligibility & Application
- All faculty at URMC – those with appointments at UR School of Nursing and UR School of Medicine and Dentistry – are invited to apply for acceptance to the Academy. If you have questions about your eligibility, please reach out via our Contact Us form.
- Applications will open on September 1, 2025, and will remain open until November 15, 2025. Please submit all requested materials within that window to ensure you are considered for acceptance. If you have questions or would like to be reminded when the application opens, please submit a note via our Contact Us form.
