ECG Core Laboratory

The ECG Core Laboratory (ECL) has been involved in quantitative electrocardiology  services and research activities for over 30 years under the leadership of Jean-Philippe Couderc, PhD and Wojciech Zareba, MD, PhD. The table below illustrates wide array of ECG technologies with numerous standard and investigational ECG analyses performed for numerous NIH- and corporate-sponsored clinical studies and clinical trials.

Over several years of conducting NIH, HEI, EPA, and industry sponsored large clinical studies and trials, the ECL has developed profound expertise in the central coordination and analysis of ECG recordings for internal studies and for external researchers and sponsors. Our ECL has been validated as FDA compliant vendor of ECG-oriented and implantable devices–oriented services.

In addition to standard analyses of ECGs and long-term recordings focused on identifying abnormal ECG patterns and presence of atrial and ventricular arrhythmias our ECG Core Lab is a leader in innovation in electrocardiology with particular emphasis on computerized analyses of ventricular repolarization and QRS signal processing.

Our experience with processing and adjudicating pacemaker and ICD interrogations served numerous studies and trials that have changed the medicine. Our unique infrastructure, FDA-compliant environment, and expertise supports state-of-the-art research activities.
