On-Demand Health Stations

Bringing Telehealth Care to Your Community!

UR Medicine is partnering with Five Star Bank to bring quick and connected access to essential health tools in communities near you.

Introducing: On-Demand Health Stations

Higi Smart Health Stations measure key health indicators including blood pressure, pulse, and weight.

This enables patients to monitor and track key health measures, catching problems early and improving long-term health of our communities.

Patients will be able to use the Health Stations to connect directly with UR Medicine providers via our telehealth service, Virtual Urgent Care, for common, non-emergent conditions.

Where Can I Find One?

Located in secure, private spaces within select Five Star Bank locations during regular business hours, the stations are designed to make access to healthcare easier and more convenient.

UR Medicine's Approach

How They Work

Establish Your Baseline: Use the health stations to measure vital indicators like blood pressure, weight, and other key health conditions. This baseline will help you understand your health status and guide you on the next steps to improve your well-being.

Connect with UR Medicine Providers: Need medical advice for common, non-emergent conditions? The Health Stations allow patients to directly connect with a UR Medicine provider via our telehealth service, Virtual Urgent Care. Conditions include but are not limited to abdominal pain, allergies, cough, sore throat, and more.

Symptom Guide at Your Fingertips: Unsure about your symptoms? Look for a message from URMC on the top screen of the station. When it pops up, scan the QR code on the health station to access a handy Symptom Guide for quick reference to see the where you should get care.

The Health Stations are equipped with a UV light that disinfects the touch screen and sensors. Masks and hand sanitizer are also provided at each health station.

The Health Stations use sophisticated security, monitoring, and communication technologies to ensure privacy of your information and with the provider. The door entering the room to the health station locks for additional privacy.

Enter your information following the prompts on the Health Station screen. Once entered, we will connect you with a UR Medicine primary care provider though a live video visit.

Our medical provider will diagnose and treat your symptoms during the video visit. Please remain seated throughout the session. By leaving the seat, the station will reset and conclude the session.

You may receive a chat message from the care team at UR Medicine via the station. Although you cannot type a message back to them, you can connect via the phone to your left and selecting the “Queue Manager” button.

To end the session, simply stand up or click “exit session” and “log out”.

Virtual Urgent Care visits are a good choice for common medical conditions and minor illnesses, like colds, coughs, headaches, infections, rashes and more. Check our symptom guide to see if your symptoms can be treated in a video visit.

Call your primary care doctor's office for preventive care, chronic condition management, prescription refills and non-emergency care. Consider urgent care for acute illnesses/injury or call 911 for medical emergencies.

Health Stations are available to use during standard bank location operating hours. The last video visit will be accepted 30 minutes before bank closure. To find the bank hours, visit our location listings.

Outside of bank hours, patients can access the Virtual Urgent Care service on their personal devices (smart phone, computer, tablet.) Visits are available Monday through Friday from 7 a.m.–8 p.m., and Weekends from 8 a.m.–12 p.m. & 12:30–4:30 p.m.

Post-Visit Care

After your virtual visit, a summary of your care will be sent directly to your primary care provider via fax or will be uploaded to MyChart.
