New Request for Proposals

Faculty Development Programs - Launching Fall 2026

Do you have an idea to help faculty excel in their roles? The Faculty Development (FD) Oversight Committee invites proposals for new faculty development programs launching in Fall 2026. Whether it’s a focused 3-session series, a monthly course, related to pilot initiatives, expansion of existing programming or something entirely new, we want to hear from you!

  • Programs may serve clinician-educators, basic science investigators, clinical researchers or any combination of these groups.
  • We welcome proposals for any career stage and format that suits your audience.
  • We are especially interested in innovative, practical approaches grounded in a real need you’ve observed or identified.

Proposals that address one or more of the following—or something we haven’t thought of:

  • Innovation in teaching, learning, or research practice
  • Career advancement, mentorship and promotion readiness
  • Leadership skills for any level
  • Wellness, resilience, and sustainable practice
  • Evaluation, scholarship, and outcomes
  • Something else that fills an identified gap
  • Administrative support (space, materials, communication)
  • Program funding may be available.
  • Extra compensation for the Program Director may be available.
