What do you like about living in Rochester? I enjoy living in Rochester (NY) because it offers a great balance between a vibrant academic environment and a comfortable community lifestyle. The city has a strong medical and research presence, excellent cultural opportunities, beautiful parks, and easy access to outdoor activities throughout the year. I also appreciate the welcoming community, reasonable cost of living, and the ability to have a fulfilling professional and personal life in the same place.

Why did you select URMC for your fellowship training? I selected URMC because of its strong reputation for clinical excellence, commitment to education, and supportive learning environment. The dermatopathology fellowship provides exposure to a diverse and complex patient population while allowing trainees to work with experienced faculty who are dedicated to mentorship and professional development. I was particularly drawn to the combination of high-quality patient care, academic opportunities, and the collaborative culture within the program.

What is the best selling point of your fellowship training? The strongest selling point of the fellowship is the combination of comprehensive clinical training, excellent faculty mentorship, and opportunities for academic and professional growth. The program provides meaningful hands-on experience while maintaining a supportive environment where fellows can develop confidence, refine their skills, and prepare for successful careers after graduation.
