How to Apply

We offer two one-year fellowship positions each year. If a candidate is interested in Epilepsy fellowship only, we will consider applicants the year and a half prior to the start date of July 1. If the candidate is interested in combining training with a clinical neurophysiology (CNP) fellowship also, we will to review applications around December a year and a half prior to the clinical neurophysiology year. Interviews are scheduled as we receive applications. If accepted, the candidate can remain on for a second year of epilepsy training as long as they complete their CNP fellowship training in a satisfactory manner.

Selected applicants may combine additional training in epilepsy with two years of formal research training through the Fellowship in Experimental Therapeutics, a program continuously funded by the NIH since 1989 and specifically designed to train translational and clinical researchers in neurology.

We ask that prospective applicants submit an application as well as 3 letters of recommendation, and a brief letter of intent.  We review applications beginning in the Fall, a year and a half prior to the start of the fellowship year. Rolling interviews are scheduled as we receive completed applications. For fellowships starting July 2021, our interview dates are December 2019 and continue until our fellowship slots are filled.
