Our Fellows
Nicholas Taylor will be our 50-50 clinical neurophysiology fellow. He should be a familiar face since he just completed his Neurology residency with us here at the University of Rochester. He will be seeing patients with the Monday Epilepsy Attendings. He will be reading EEGs on Tuesdays and Fridays and in the EMG lab on Monday mornings and Thursdays.
Hanan El Shakankiry will be the other clinical neurophysiology fellow joining us for two years and will continue as an epilepsy fellow the following year. She has just completed her Pediatric Neurology training at UT Southwest in Dallas, Texas. She recently won their resident research award for her work with HFOs. She is originally from Egypt where she has had extensive experience as a pediatrician. She will be reading EEGs on Mondays and Wednesdays and will have her own clinic at East River Road on Friday afternoons.
Aubrey Duncan should be another familiar face who completed her pediatric neurology training and her critical care and vascular neurology fellowship here. She will spend another year of training as our Epilepsy fellow starting in September. She will be focusing on critically ill children. She will have her own clinic at East River Road on Friday afternoons. She will also be participating in some of our subspecialty (RNS, VNS and dietary) clinics.
