We are thrilled that all of our fellowship positions in our Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship Program for the 2023-2024 academic year have been filled. We have 4 fellowship positions per year.

We are welcoming applications for the 2023-24 fellowship year.  We exclusively use ERAS for application information and participate in the NRMP Match. Applications for the program MUST BE IN ERAS website by August 4, 2023 when we will begin reviewing applications and offering interview dates. Additional details are available on the AAHPM website.

We are excited to offer two tracks for our fellows – a pediatric track and a neuropalliative track for physicians with prior experience/training in pediatrics or neurology respectively.

Current fellows have an opportunity to pursue an additional 1-2 years of protected time for research career development.

Interviews for the 2023-24 fellowship year will be scheduled on selected Wednesdays in August - October 2023. Preferred candidates need to be Board Eligible or Board Certified by an ABMS-recognized board. Fellow Perspective

Ronald Maggiore, MD

What is a program highlight for you?

I liked the ability to do home visits as part of our continuity clinics.  I also loved the inpatient palliative care unit – an integral part of our training in managing end-of-life issues with patients and their loved ones.
