Michael R. Joynt, M.D.

Current Position: Faculty, Division of Pediatric Cardiology, Division of Cardiology, University of Michigan

Graduate of URMC Internal Medicine-Pediatrics Residency Program

I greatly valued the support and deep connections that I made during residency with my Med-Ped co-residents. I had the opportunity to work with some of the most talented physicians I have had the pleasure to be around. We learned and grew together. I greatly value everything I learned from my colleagues, but also the guidance I received from my countless mentors. Rochester Internal Medicine-Pediatrics is the epitome of Med-Peds training. You will learn. You will work. And you will become great doctors with life-long friends, colleagues, and mentors that will be there for you for the rest of your life. Enjoy it!

I primarily care for Adult Congenital Cardiology patients in both outpatient and inpatient setting, as well as attend on the Pediatric Cardiology inpatient medical service. I am the Assistant Fellowship Director for the Adult Congenital Heart Fellowship.
